DesktopX Mp3 player question

Thursday, March 31, 2005 by SVRunningMan | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a desktopx media/mp3 player (similar to those in Brad's tutorials) to point to one specific file or url. I'm trying to make a simple standalone player (i have pro) that plays only one file (namely that of my friend's band). I've tried the DXPlayer plugin settings of Play[file] Play[folder] Play[url] and Play[playlist] but they seem to require manual selection and they are often followed by other files on my comp. I just want to make it so when I click Play, it plays their song automatically everytime. If anyone has a suggestion, that'd be great.

You may have better luck scripting it.
Unfortunatly, I can't script for beans. If you were looking for a bean scripter . . . I would be your man.
