In older versions of DesktopX, (1 and 2), You were able, after purchasing OB, you could password protect it and stick it in client mode.

It appears that the security section is gone from DX3, not sure if it's in th ePro version or not, haven't installed it yet. But it might be an Enterprice feature now.
