| The newest version of Windowblinds is currently 4.50. If you are an ObjectDesktop subscriber, use StardockCentral to upgrade to Windowblinds 4.5. If you have the stand-alone version of Windowblinds, enter your email-address here: https://www.stardock.com/support.asp Link and then use the link in the email you will get from stardock to download the newest version of Windowblinds. |
I have register versions of WindowBlinds and IconPackager, when open StardockCentral it tells me if update is
available, click ok, updates.

1) make sure that 'Always use the animations defined in the current skin' is ticked under Windowblinds configuration > 'My animations'
2) Under Windowblinds configuration > 'Basic settings' > 'Performance' > make sure that 'disable standard windows animation effects' is ticked.
Make sure you hit "Apply changes" before you leave the configuration-menu
If that doesn't work:
The newest version of Windowblinds is currently 4.50. If you are an ObjectDesktop subscriber, use StardockCentral to upgrade to Windowblinds 4.5.

After you have downnloaded version 4.5, backup your Windowblinds into a folder of your choice (not the program, just the skins). Then uninstall through 'Control Panel' > 'Add and Remove Programs' > reboot (very important) > and reinstall the newest version.
