WindowsFX will not work with explorer after upgrade?

I upgraded from ati 9800 Pro (agp) to PCI-E nvidia 6800 GT - and now the latest version of WindowsFX will not work with any part of explorer - it only works on seperate program, like MS Office, etc.. I was using an older version of WIndowblinds, version 3.3, and that didn't work after my upgrade. But I got the latest one, version 4.5, and that did it - so I figured that the latest version of WindowsFX would work also - but no such luck.
I'm running XP Home Edition, P4 HT 3.2, 160 GB hd, and 6800 GT 256MB PCI-E. The drivers are the latest from Nvidia 71.84.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I really miss all those cool effects...!
