A Microsoft Case Study shows how ATI was able to reduce costs and accelerate the development cycle of the Catalyst Control Center by using DirectSkin from Stardock to create a skinnable user interface.

ATI estimated that it would take two programmers working for a year to create a skinnable interface. DirectSkin allows developers to use the same libraries as WindowBlinds, so you also have the best possible compatibility. Users of the CCC can select to use the ATI skin, a WindowBlinds skin if the user is running WindowBlinds or a different WindowBlinds skin.
