Can anyone say why that memorymeter shows all the time 39%?It doesn`t change up or down!

Skryme:

Try configuring the performance meter. Just right click directly over the number '39' on the meter. If you've done it in the right place you should see the option to 'configure performance meters2'.

The 'set text of object box' should be checked, but you should notice the box to the right of this is just an empty white field (this is where the error lies). Click on the little arrow at the right of this box to reveal a drop down list. Included in this list is:-

Silica_MemMeter_MemText

Make sure this is the one you choose to fill this field, then apply.

Remember to save this anew or you'll just load in the original settings next time you reload this.

Mine is stuck at 39% as well.

Alternate Setting, no matter where I right-click on the widget, all I get is the widget context menu with close, about, and properties choices. There are no options in the widget properties related to performance meter settings.

My bad, you may have to ensure you are in DesktopX Builder not just user mode. Let me know if that makes the difference for you Mike. (explains guiltily that I have this set as my default and forgot others don't).

Loading DesktopX Builder didn't seem to make any difference. I still get the same context menu when I right-click.

Aha, I see now. After I loaded DX Builder, I had to import the memory meter widget into it. Then I was able to edit the performance meter settings and re-export a repaired widget. (thanks c242 and Alternate Setting)
