Disable OD+ when using terminal services

Tuesday, March 8, 2005 by Slackbits | Discussion: ObjectDock

I was wondering if there was an option, I did not see one, but if there was an option to disable OD+ when connecting remotely. I love the program and run it on my work machine, but it is a bit to graphical to squeeze over a terminal services connection.

Thanks for any info

I don't know of any specific disable option.

Probably have to unload it, or deselect the option to "Load ObjectDock at startup" if you are using Wake on LAN, Dameware, or a virtual network connection and it is creating problems.

I am not a Network Admin, so I only know that remotely connecting to a computer with a lot of graphics creates a real slow image draw and response time.

Deselecting magnification will remove the heavy CPU usage which occurs during "zooming".

I am sure someone with more knowledge than I will drop by.

Good luck.
