Saving settings before upgrading to plus

Monday, March 7, 2005 by morwyn | Discussion: ObjectDock

I liked ObjectDock so much I decided to upgrade to ObjectDock Plus. I am worried I will lose all my settings during the installation of the plus version. Is there some way that I can backup my current dock settings so I don't lose my current setup? Any suggestions would be helpful!

thanks,
morwyn

Save your existing theme. Backup the Backgrounds, Themes, and Docklets folders in the OD directory. Backup all your icons. You might want to back up this folder also.... C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDock (if you can't see the Local Settings folder, go to Folder Options from the Tools menu, and check "Show hidden files and folders")

You should good to go at that point.
