Help with installing themes

I really need help with installing all the stuff i downloaded from here. Yes, i know im a newb but who cares i must be one someday... Anyway, just tell me if i need to get some other programs to install for example a new mouse cursor theme or login screen etc. Some of the files were zipped and some in an unknown file format. Just tell me what to do, plz.
