Question about subscription...

Is it a one-time payment?...

Hey just wondering if its a one-time payment (of $19.95) to subscribe.
If it is does this subscription last as long as my account is alive?

If it isnt a one-time payment the order page is not clear on if it is
monthly/yearly/etc.

SSOne,

If you are talking about the WinCustomize subscription, it is for 2 years and allows unlimited downloads as well as increased access levels and the ability to create your own web page (i.e., ssone.wincustomize.com).

You still get unlimited downloads as a past/current customer, and can still make a personal user page. I think I read that it's for 2 years too.

wincutomize should probably clarify..they make it
look (on purpose or not-i dont know) look like its just a one-time payment.

I can't find where they say it either..haha

Well about the only thing I can find that says 1 year is the subscription to OD, that is only good for a year..thats probably where my personal confusion roots from...So far to users say it is 2 years, so it's probably 2 years..::laughs::..I cannot say for sure..

~I would take that statement to mean that for 1 year you pay $19.95 and at the end of 1 year they offer a special renewal of $19.95 for 2 years.....not unusual for renewals to be a better deal.

Actually, I was registered when the site first went to paid subscriptions and I purchased a 2 year subscription. I'm not sure when they went to the first sub being a 1 year sub. But it may have only been those of us already registered who got the up front 2 years. Either way, $19.95 for a year is peanuts compared with what you get for the price.
