One Year

Just noticed that on 3/3, I will have been here one year. Seems like a day, and it seems like 5 years. I sure have met some great people here. My computer will never be the same. Literally.

Are we supposed to be crawling, walking, or running at 1 year? - or finding out how accident prone we can be?
Congratulations, man - glad to be here when you are. I find you to be a very caring individual. One that is exemplary and which many would do well to emulate.
I may have just used up my "big word" quotient for the day, but it was well worth it.

You can't go by the profile Yrgal....mine says 7-9-2003, I believe thats when I PAID for a subscription. I had to go into my saved emails to find the Site Registration Confirmation which was dated 4-15-02, before paid subscriptions.

Hehe! Thanks Yrgal for pointing that out to me. Seriously, I probably never would have seen it if you hadn't pointed it out.
I went back to my saved emails from Stardock as well, Bill, but I only have as far back as the actual subscription purchase, which does state Dec 27, 2003. Which does mean that I've been here for over a year. Geez! I feel like I've learned so little in that time, but actually, if I remember where I was back when I first joined, I really have learned alot.
Some good memories, SD. Thanks for starting this thread. Reflecting is GOOD!

Thanks Carole. It was your screenies and Phrozen's that got me hooked. Then, all of the sudden I saw some stuff by a guy named danilloOc. Now I live on about 3-4 hours of sleep a night and my face and hands have become pixelated from their close proximity to a monitor. See?
