Hi, I just bought Object Dock plus a couple day's ago. I have it like I wan't it now. I was enjoying it, and then Poof, It is gone. It just shuts itself down. It will be on for awhile, and then I notice it is gone. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Have you tried re-installing? Remove all traces of the current installation , do the normal maitenence, clear your cache, cookies, temp files etc..shut down everything possible including your anti-virus proggie..then re-install.. Sometimes this works, and sometimes it doesnt..but it is something to try, unless someone comes up with an answer..

Zero.

I've noticed at times the tabbed dock (used as a drawer) will disappear off the screen after running a screen saver or some other program which makes use of the entire screen area. The program is not actually off, it's just not visible. I can get it back if I right click on the systray icon and click on my docks.

Thanks Loasati, Double Zero and Lantec. I will give all these suggestions a try and let you know what happen's. I beleive after reading Lantec's thread, that might be what is happening here, except it is the dock at the top as well. Thanks alot.

I've seen this happen when the screen resolution is changed (i.e from larger to smaller). OD doesn't seem to notice the resize and remains at the 'old' screen coordinates instead of moving.

Maybe your screen saver is changing resolutions?

No they aren't. I have noticed in trying to figure this out that it seems to happen while using Firefox. When I close the browser or maximize or minimize the size of the brwser page.

Well I have found out is related to both Firefox and IE browsers.

Is "ObjectDock.exe" still running in Task Manager > Processes?

Have you tried clearing the "CurrentTheme.ini" from the "Local Settings" cache, then reloading and resaving theme?

I use 1 normal dock on top, 1 tabbed dock drawer on bottom, and 1 tabbed "floating pallet" dock on desktop and have not seen any issues with IE (although I have magnification off, mouse activation off, always on bottom z-order, or always on top deselected).

Are you using the sys-traydocklet or the sys-stats docklet? Both of these have previously caused OD to crash (I don't know though whether they were still running in the background).

Try to eliminate all docklets you run on the dock and see whether it still happens.

I'm using 1.1 version and sometimes, my dock icons/images disappear. The text description is still there and the "area" where the icon used to be is still clickable.

Anyone else having this problem?

When it happens to me there is nothing to click or anything. The only way I have found so far to keep it from disappearing is to keep it on autohide.

This happens to me. I use auto-hide and sometimes I move my mouse to the bottom of the screen and... nothing. Seems to happen when using Firefox (but I use that a lot).
