Uploading object?

Thursday, February 24, 2005 by Richard Mohler | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I made a weather object from a part of windowblinds (object) called mako by pixtudio and showed it to him and he gave me his
permission to upload it. I just want to know how to go about it. Never done this before. Is this a port or is that something else, also about his permission he just said go ahead and upload it. Do I need something in writing or can I just say thanks for the permission?

Yes, this would be considered a port. And yes, you need permission in writing, inlcuded with the upload. This is to prevent people claiming they have permission when they really haven't even contacted the author.
