Need help on Birthday reminder docklet

i can't get it to work.
The readme file says birthdays will be read from an .ini file. And so i found this file named birthdayreminder.bdi with this instructions in it. It's written that i need to write the birthdays in this format:
[Something]
Name=Someone
Date=21/02/1980
in the birthdayreminder.bdi file using notepad. none of the birthdays saved in that file is showing up. I already installed the .net runtime and checked the 'Birthday Type -> Birthday ini file'.
Does anyone have any idea of what's wrong?
