BeOS was the first and last time I had hope that a commercial OS for x86 PCs would be capable of finally overthrowing Windows. It was beautiful at the time, though now it looks dated. I will probably buy Zeta, eventually, for nostalgia, but what I'm truly keeping an eye on for the future is Haiku.
