Docklet or shortcut to hide other docks

Maybe I am missing something, kind of new to this, but this is what I want to do.

2 docks, 1 tabbed and one running systats. The tabbed dock would be on the bottom of the screen, replacing the taskbar, tabs always on top when in drawer mode. The systat dock would be running always on top in the left corner with a transparent background. I have managed to get all of this working.

But I don't want that systat dock running all the time. Is there a way to turn it off, close, minimize, hide or whatever other term you can think of with a shortcut on my tabbed dock. I read that you can turn off or deactivate docks, but the only option I see is to remove it and that loses all of your settings. I can only seem to either have both docks running at all times or neither running. This doesn't seem right to me, I would think that you can turn one off or on.

If your systats dock is a not a tabbed dock, you can use the Auto-Hide feature. You'll find this setting under Positioning.

Yes, I found that, but I want it visible and docked and other times, just disabled, without having to go into the menu to configure it to autohide everytime. I know that it sounds like I am being picky here, but I would think that someone much smarter than I could come up with a docklet that opens and closes other docks. It isn't just for that dock either, it would be nice to have an efficient way to load different docks in different positions for different apps. Maybe I am missing the point of having this in the first place.

I agree, such a docklet would be handy.
