Adding/Removing Pre-designed shortcuts

I am new at all this and need some help. I loaded the Destruction theme. On the left where there is the list for internet,graphics, office, shortcuts exc.. on the drop down list for these buttons how would I delete the programs/shortcuts that I dont need and add ones I want? Thank you

Best thing to do is open a new theme and experimnt with the configuration of an object for a little while. Right click on the object you want to mess with and selct properties (I think), the properties window will pop up and you will eventually find your way around. If you mess up, delete the theme and start over again. What you are looking to do is simple. Deleting the items is as simple as right clicking on the object and selecting delete object. Save the theme, you should be all set.
