LogonStudio Not Loading Themes

I have followed the simple instructions, Im quite literate in computers... but this prog just wont load the themese I have downloaded from wincustomize
I have a few longhorn themes in logonxp format, I open logonstudio, hit load, find the file, hit open and then......
nothing. out of the 9 files I have downloaded, not a single one loads as it should.
Any help on how to get this problem fixed, would be greatly appreciated.
Before anyone posts the newbies guide... ive read it, I done EXACTLY as listed.
if anyone wants to test one of the themes not working for me, search for longhorn and get stealth.
I would really appreciate any help.
I currently have my win xp set up to look like longhorn, boot screen is longhorn, running talisman desktop as shell so it loads a longhorn look desktop, window blinds running a longhorn theme, all thats missing is the login screen and im stuck with logonstudio.

I have the same problem this isnt a perfect fix but it will do
first you need to go to c:\program files\wincustomize\logon studio
minimize that windows you will need it later
next your gona need to open that file to get to the files inside so your gona have to get 7zip

Download and install
afterthat find one of thoes files you couldnt load filename example.logonxp
right click and click open with click browse go to c:\program files\7-zip and find the file 7zFM select it and click ok or whatever
make shure its not checked to allways open with this program then click ok and you should see a buntch of files bitamps and stuf
minimize that then maximize the window from before right click and create a new folder with aney name you like
open it then pull up 7-zip and copy all thoes files from there inside the folder you made
startup logon studio and the name of the folder you made will appear basicly your doing what logon stufio would have done it it had opened the file good luck i hope i helped

Make sure that software that blocks system changes (such as antivirus software) is not blocking this by temporarily disabling it. Also, ensure that you are running LogonStudio as administrator.

I am having a problem with the latest LogonStudio, it also will not change the boot screen, (I have not tried the safe mode administrator though)...
I am also having problems with bootskin, i change the picture and it sets it as Active, but still loads the preinstalled Timewarp OSWARP logo even though it states after startup that the default xinxp bootsrceen is Active, completely denying the fact that I changed it originally, I will try this in safe mode as well, hopefully if I put a password in admin it will run as and save me a lot of problems that I didn't used to have prior to system destruc recovery, Home Edition problems with access denied.. why can't it run like it did, I am guessing it is all because of sp3 install update stalling out and not finishing cleaning up.

If you just want to revert to the default boot screen on XP, simply delete the vidstub.sys file in C:\Windows\System32. Make sure to leave everything else alone though.

Another problem: I´m running xp with tuneup utilities, winblinds, winstep extreme and descscapes. Whenever I try to load a new logon screen with logon studio it sets tuneup utilities to standart logon, but loads winseven logon screen. I cannot find the application, that is responsible for this and the fact, that logonstudio is unable to set its screen as default.
problem solved by using logonxp instead!

The problem must be on your end. Have you tried uninstalling LS, rebooting, and reinstalling?
