OD Icons

Wednesday, February 2, 2005 by NightRowan | Discussion: ObjectDock

Does anyone know if there is a way to organize your icons into collections? I tried installing them in folders within the images folder but I'm still getting all my icons at once and I'd prefer not to have to use the browse button all the time.thx

I just create my own folders in the ObjectDock folder, just like the images one that comes with the program.

Then I can place different theme images or icons I have converted to PNG files in their respective folders (i.e. - Office, Utopia, Oxidized, Cryo64, Adobe, Pauls work, etc.).

Then when I go to "Change image", I just click one of the folders and it displays just that folders contents.

This works really well for me, hope it helps.

Thanks, that's basically what I did last time but I put them in one folder too deep. I think I put them into Images or Themes last time. This time I put them just in the ObjectDock folder and it worked perfectly. No more searching through hundreds of icons for the one I want! Thanks a ton for the help. It let me know that I had the right idea, wrong place!
