Want to stop WindowBlinds from loading

Wednesday, January 26, 2005 by mjjlamb | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Hello,

I would like to boot without windowsblinds automatically loading. How do I turn off windowsblinds? I just can't find a do not load option.

If you're using XP, the only way to disable WB from running at startup is to switch to WIndows Classic style in Display Properties before you shutdown, or reboot.

It used to be that you could hold down the CTRL key while Windows loaded to stop WB loading... maybe Stardock took that out? I haven't used WB for a long time

Holding down the CTRL key during boot still works (I believe) on OS's other than XP.
