Marathon Messageboard Thread is it defunct??

I can't get to the Chocolate Planet anymore - is there a problem somewhere? It's time the inhabitants of that thread to squeak up! What the error message reads as----------------

I hope you guys find a way to get the old "chocolate planet" thread to function again. I tried to open it with no success.

Keep in ming though if this thread is the new marathon thread it will suffer the same fate once it gets bigger.

finally feeling able to continue, and that i wont fall asleep en-route i trundle up to fuzzy wuzzy and present him with a scroll to read. it is a royal proclamation! *awe struck expression*

To whom it may concern

the present, past, future and for all time rulers of all of the known universe and beyond have noticed that fuzzy wuzzy has engaged in devious and underhand activities in an attempt to avoid people knowing it his his birthday!

since such acts are clearly quite wrong, this state of affairs is not to be accepted! so by royal decree we hear by announce that for this year only fuzzy wuzzy will be celebrating his 21st birthday on 1st April, since this gives us the time and warning to prepare for the presentation of the organized 5,000,021 birthday spanks that he so clearly deserves!

signed and sealed with the royal seal
*cat paw print*

feline peaks at the scroll as fuzzy wuzzy reads it

all of this talk of birthdays has got me thinking. perhaps it is time i presented my birthday list, so that people will have time to organise the things i want *big grin*

i would like the following items:

* a positive stardock experience, one that does not leave me feeling the need to write another negative and depressing email, asking if software will ever be fixed

* the marathon thread back - i refuse to look at this site until this ultimate sin has been resolved! i may well refuse to look at the site even afterwards, but that can be sorted out later

* 1,000,000 cadburies chocolate buttons. 2/3 of them in dark chocolate and 1/3 of them in white chocolate

* a diagram showing all of the ticklish spots on both fuzzy wuzzy and GM, along with notes about which are the most ticklish, and which spots become more ticklish with tickling *big grin*

* a treacle and chocolate trap with GM caught in the middle of it, wearing only a chocolate soluble chocolate nurses uniform! after all, once she gets better how else are we going to keep up with her? it is for the best! *innocent expression number 91*

* a large keg of chocolate ale to present to OC on his birthday. after all being prepared in advance is a good thing.

Indeed. You will not be able to see the site from within your new leather and straps jacket...

* 1,000,000 cadburies chocolate buttons. 2/3 of them in dark chocolate and 1/3 of them in white chocolate

Now where have all the milk chocolate buttons gone ***innocent look No 22***

* a diagram showing all of the ticklish spots on both fuzzy wuzzy and GM, along with notes about which are the most ticklish, and which spots become more ticklish with tickling *big grin*

Hmmm, I don't have a diagram of ticklish spots, but if you'd like to stand still for a moments I can demonstrate ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE***

As for the trap...I'll be here tomorrow covered in treacle

Methinks that cat paw print is a rip. Someone is going to have an awfully sore bottom for this

I was able to get into the thread, but when I added a comment and clicked submit, it eventually timed out without ever accepting my post.

Better then any of us so far. I've been trying every so often and still get the errors. Even when the forum was dead.

It worked! I managed to get the behemoth to bump to the top of the list! Now...if anyone is able to post to it, that's the next challenge.

Time and time and time and time and time again. Tired of trying. Oh, woe!
Hello feline...puuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...............hope that soothes your achy breaky feelings for awhile.

Well? Are we going to stand for this...this...humiliation any longer. Revolt I say! No, wait we have a spy inside don't we? Hmmmmmmmmmm. Fuzzy get something done. Or how about starting a new thread? Someone needs to make some choices here. As always.............

Grand Raspberries to all and to all a good night!

Hi JamMeister!  Good to see you around again.

Keep in ming though if this thread is the new marathon thread it will suffer the same fate once it gets bigger.

Ah well, Kona.  No end of new threads on a forum.  It took us a loooong time to make a thread that big... prolly by the time this one grew like that the problem would be long fixed.

goodmorphing looks around for FL....

I speculate that as April one aproaches Fuzzy sightings will diminish in some attempt to avoid birthday spanks.

goodmorphing ponders what a treacle trap might be.

I always thought treacle was that sound a bad floorboard makes when stepped on during a dark and stormy and scary night....

I can't open the marathon thread either.

Or how about starting a new thread? Someone needs to make some choices here. As always.............

goodmorphing points to the sprout that grew from OC's treehouse.

Seems someone has made a choice here..... YOU!  (and then we all made a bandwagon out of it and hopped on!)

goodmorphing thinks we have a good start of it  here.  Fuzzy said  you could change the title.  Or maybe a new thread.... something catchy like "Ye Ol' Crabby Treehouse"...  get some of that ol' crab grit and gumption going here.... not to mention the magic.

Indeed. You will not be able to see the site from within your new leather and straps jacket...

feline wanders around, considering the sight of fuzzy wuzzy holding up the new jacket

fuzzy's, just cannot resist showing off their new toys in front of everyone *giggles*

feline nibbles at strap after strap as i slowly circle fuzzy...
after all, there is always the hope that the next strap i nibble on will be made of chocolate! *big grin*

being far to lazy to go back the other way and unwind each strap after i have tried nibbling on it for a bit, i simply let the straps fall where they end up.

my, there are a LOT of straps on this jacket fuzzy is holding so close to himself! and some of them are very long to!

feline vaguely considers stopping my hunt for chocolate straps to listen to what fuzzy wuzzy is trying to say...
nah! he will only be trying to distract me from this important quest!

*sigh* i have tried all of the straps, and not one of them was made of chocolate. feline stops to consider what has become of fuzzy

strange, he seems to be totally wrapped up in the interwoven straps from the jacket. you would have thought he would put it on properly if he wanted to show everyone how good it looked. he must have been overly eager to try it out! *big grin* feline *innocent expression number 97*

Hmmm, I don't have a diagram of ticklish spots, but if you'd like to stand still for a moments I can demonstrate ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE***

feline considers what fuzzy wuzzy is trying to tell me...
it seems that the message is that we should all gather around and tickle fuzzy ALL over, in order to try and find out which are the most ticklish spots!

well, if this is what fuzzy insists we have to do... feline *innocent expression number 39*
feline ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE***
