I need help desperately

Hi,
I have been given my cousins old computer which has on it several stardock progs, desktop x, windowblinds, winstyles theme manager etc etc. Im no pro with computers so I have gone onto the winstyles prog and tried to download new themes, it sent me to wincustomize and i downloaded two themes to desktop. When i click on one of them, the zip file opens and i am then presented with two files - preview.bmp and winstyles.ini ??!!! What on earth do I do from here, I have tried clicking on them both and also tried locating them from within the winstyles prog but i dont understand it, any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
