Changed clock in SysStats

Sunday, January 16, 2005 by I Am Pariah | Discussion: ObjectDock

I'm sure this is probably a very simple thing to solve (crossing fingers), but it's always the simple stuff that trips up power users.

I have a sysstants analog clock in an OD, which ran beautifully with its default skin (the one with the chrome border and clear crystal on white). Last night I applied a new IconPackager theme, and suddenly my clock is radically different. The face image is completely gone--everything is except the hands and the AM/PM notation. The real pain is that the hands are black, and with a transparent background, unreadable atop my black wallpaper.

How can I get my clock back to the look it had?

Try This:

Right click the clock and select DOCK ENTRY PROPERTIES...
Then click CHANGE IMAGE
Select a clock icon and click OK
click OK to close the DOCK ENTRY PROPERTIES... window and your done

I hope I helped

Thanks, Skidogallard.

I knew to try that--or at least thought I remembered that that was the way to do it. However I don't get the typical dock entry menu when I r-click on it. I get the SysStats menu, with Configure, Load, etc.

I fixed it, though. Your suggestion prompted me to just create a new clock and remove the malfunctioning (should have been) chrome clock.

So, thank you!
