Submitting News

Saturday, January 15, 2005 by BX | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Right now, I am trying to submitt a news about recent Avalon Public Release. But whenever I clicked on "submit news" button it returns me with: 1212: You do not have the access to complete this task.

Have I been baned from submitting news or is it server glitch????

Count to 1000....really, really slowly....by the time it is 9am, Monday United States time...you will be able to contact Stardock.

Prior to that it is down to luck and who may or may not be available in their 'off' time and has access to site coding, etc.

Patience solves everything....

I have been getting the same error. There have already been about 3 posts about Avalon, so I don't think it's much news anymore.

Its ok. Just submit something else of relevance. No biggy.

Besides, between Frogboy, you and I, I think we make about 90% of the news stories.

I think the site is simply in the works. I've just recently lost all my admin access to the site. Please be patient while Pat and the gang take care of the advanced fetures. Mailing Pat would be more on track of solving it than posting here.

Black Xero: So sorry I didn't see your post sooner. It is probably a similar problem to the user level bug we are experiencing. I can assure you I just brought this to Frogboy and T-Man's attention and it is getting worked on. Truthfully in the future an e-mail to [email protected] might be a faster way to get help. Or catch us on the irc if you can. Please keep us updated on your status with this problem.
