Oxidized Suit not all installing
Friday, January 14, 2005 by Stephen Kilmer | Discussion: WindowBlinds
The only wallpaper I get is the medium one. Is there a large one? The medium one looks scrunched up.
I do not get a bootskin, no Objectdock Plus tabs, no calendar, no meter, weather / clock or media player.
I have bootskin and Objectdock Plus installed.
What am I doing wrong.
Thanks...Steve

I changed it to a zip file and looked inside and the files are not there.
I emailed tech support and am going through them I must not have gotten all the files.
Thanks...Steve

Problem with theme manager. Suite file will not apply.

Recently there were quite a few error reportings concerning suites that consists only of URL's (these suites are easy recognisable by their small size, e.g. 1-10 KB). These problems occured due to the files being moved to a new server. Try to stick to larger suites/themes (e.g 500 Kb - 5 MB large) in the meantime.

Change the extension of the suite- or theme-file to zip and unzip it to a folder of your choice. Have a look inside;
the bootskin should have the extension .bootskin
the clock, calendar, meters, and weather items are either a .dxpack or an .exe (widget). Note that You will need DesktopX installed for them.
The walls are either .jpg or bmp
The objectDock plus tabs is the folder where you have a couple of .png files and a file called background.ini (move/copy this folder into your ObjectDock\Backgrounds folder)
Each of these components (as well as the other components included) are likely to be in theyr own folder.
hope that helps.
