You can't apply images from your pc. Images have to be on the web somewhere. If you find an image on the web, like this one you can use the image button to add it to your post. If you rght click any image and select properties, you will see the URL of the image. You can then copy that URL, open the image button and paste in the URL.

Hope that explains things ok

This is a free hosting site. Copy and paste your image, it will give you a direct link that you then copy and paste into the image box of this forum. Easy. I just went through the same thing.

You pasted the URL of the page and not the image. Right click the image to bring up the properties dialogue box, then copy the URL that's on there...

wmsco, the small pictures on the right are personal icons that we submit on the "My Account" page of this site, where it says update images. Let us know if you can't find it or if you have trouble. I'll be awake now for a bit.

Hey Lynx's Den. I always say I feel like I'm learning how to play the violin in public. Don't be embarassed. This site has so many sharp folk, the embarassment would be not to learn from them.

Here's a good example. Follow it through to the end as I go through the same learning curve and show my ignorance to the world
