WC Login failure & webpage size problem

Login Problem

Why is it that when I first open SDC and click on a topic that I get a login failure page, but then when I click on a different topic it's fine? This is a constant occurance.

Webpage Size Problem

Why is it that when I first go to WC the main page is all centered on the screen, but when I click on a library half the page is off the screen? And then when I go back to the main page or another it's all back on the screen. This same problem happens here on the message board as well. I should add that this all seems to depend on which page I'm on or which library I'm in, and no, I can't tell you which page this happens on since it seems to be random.

I get a failed login error *usually* when I'm in the libraries trying to show the large image preview. If I close it and do it again, I get logged in normally. It's been doing that a lot today.

Looks as though something is not pulling in my entire login. My user ID is missing most of the data or my password isn't complete.

Deleting cookies might solve the SDC problem.
If I have cookies from logging into the website with my IE browser, WWW2.wincustomize or www.wincustomize.
I have problems with SDC and WCBrowser.
If I delete the cookies things work right again, for me.

When this first started happening, I deleted cookies left and right: chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, the whole batch but even when I stay on the same domain it happens.

I don't use SDC or WCbrowser, so it doesn't seem to have anything to do with that.
Although, the past couple days I have been using firefox instead of IE and so far no problems.

I often get the login problem when I fist come to WC and like webgizmos just clicking on a link works. I also have the resizing problems in some of the libraries. I am using Firefox and I deleted all the cookies, but the problem seems to pop up now and then anyway.

I really don't think deleting cookies is the answer, and really why should we have to do this all the time. I don't have to do this anywhere else I go that uses cookies, and I don't have the page size problem anywhere else either.

Some times the page is just a little to the right, then sometimes it's as if I need dual screens to see the whole page. Something tells me it's a coding problem.

If we're talking about the same resizing issue (basically having to scroll to left or right to see whole page). I get that with Firefox occasionally, I just refresh and it seems to sort itself out.

I've given up hope that it'll ever get fixed properly, webgizmos. I have the same exact problems you do - and - no place else.....just like when I use SDC to view posts - all links open in IE no matter which browser I have set for default, which is why I just have a desktop icon which takes me to WC. Rarely do I use SDC unless it's to update an app. At least I can use the browser of MY choice rather than IE.

Bump...Still haven't gotten a clear answer to why this is happening.

Don't think there IS an answer, webgizmos. I recall similar posts to yours and there weren't any answers. Maybe when the new WC site opens on 12/7, it may improve things? Until then I just click on another link when I get the infamous 'invalid login' screen. Like shortcut overlays in IP I think there are gremlins in this site!
