WindowBlinds not using too much memory???

i heard that WindowBlinds uses almost close to nothing memory but on computer it uses alot sometimes it freezes my computer, any suggestion???

Hi shadow usman,
If you want help, you might want to give a little more information like what operating system, cpu speed, memory size, and maybe the windowblinds version. Without more information all I can suggest is to maybe uninstall defrag your hardrive then reinstall and see if that helps. Also you may want to contact stardocks support to see if they can help.

And what visual style (windowblind) you are using. Some windowblinds have animations, whilse others may have errors etc. which can cause this.

you got that right:

Yrgal seem to be on the right track about what could be the cause. Alot of animations tend to suck a bit more juice out of your system, but shouldn't actually freeze it.

the few times it happened to me it was a borked install of WB.

I can suggest is to maybe uninstall defrag your hardrive then reinstall and see if that helps.


Don't forget to reboot after uninstall and before a reinstall.
