uxThemePatcher or Windows Blinds?

I know ux theme patcher (from neowin.com) cannot do as much as Windows Blinds, but as far as RAM usage goes. Which would use less ram. A simple replacement of a system file, or an entire program that does the same thing. I can use a couple programs that do not run all the time to change icons, but since i dont have to have a program running to apply a skin is it a better idea for skin/theme focused people to just use uxtheme patcher for the windows look itself? Thanks for any input.

Lantec:
Click Start -> run -> type services.msc
locate 'Themes'
Doubleclick it
Under 'Status type' select disable
Click OK
Have fun with more free resources

is there anyway that i can check to see how much resources my styles are actually taking up since it is not an actual program running? Also...since my other thread has no responses. Is there a small program that you can use to replace your system try if you have the task bar dusabled? Thank guys.

It's a bit difficult, since the Themes service runs under svchost along with other services. You can open a command prompt, type tasklist /SVC to see the PID of the particular instance of svchost that the Themes service is running under.

WindowBlinds actually uses less resources than msstyles. Task Manager says that WB is using 964K at the moment.
I've also disabled the Window's Theme service, since I don't need it, thus freeing up more resources.
