logon screen resolution

If I am creating a logon screen, I guess that it has to match the resolution that I'm working on.

I own logonstudio and have been playing with it (mainly activating others logons) but to create my own do I use Photoshop or similar graphics package?

I don't really have any experience creating logons myself, just tweaking logons when they are created resolution dependent but I can say that they absolutely do not have to be created for a specific resolution. Take a look in the library and find the recent logons by Brewman, he creates his resolution independent so they work even at my less than standard 1920X1200. So, take the time to learn how to create your logons for all resolutions and I'm sure you'll get more downloads. As far as the graphics you can use any editor you are familiar with, just be careful when using logonstudio, it has some strange quirks that can completely destroy your logons config file.

Check out the Help in LogonStudio, if you haven't done so already, and then move on to read this http://webpages.charter.net/joolsie/LogonScreens.htm. You can use any grapics editor, after all the result depends on you, doesn't it? Have fun!
