AOL Windows Have Moved When Applying Themes????

Every time I apply a window blind/ suite my AOL windows move postitions? Now every time I go to a website on AOL half the page is displayed and I have to scroll down to see the entire page which is a big inconvenience, since before window blinds were applied the website would fit all into one screen with no scrolling. I have tried uninstalling everything and installing it all again but same thing happens. Is there a fix for this or is there a way to just select the AOL program to not have blinds on it??????

I have AOL and have encountered similar problems. It is mainly due to the AOL skinning process. For this reason, I normally wait until AOL has fixed their recent versions before I install them. I have AOL 9.0 optimized, and I have no problems with it and windowblinds. My current version did the same thing until it settled down and was updated by AOL. It occassionally moves the logon window, like when I do something else before I connect and minimize the window. But, that is not Windowblinds fault. The fault is with AOL not remembering the window position, or my own preoccupation with many different things at once.

Most pages require you to scroll down the page to see the rest of it. This is common in Internet Explorer and any other browser.

If you don't like the way Windowblinds is skinning your current version of AOL, you can add an exclusion for AOL in the windowblinds configuration. Go to Windowsblinds Advanced configuration and click the Per Application setting and add AOL. There are many executables for AOL, so you'll have to find the right one.

There are many other varibles that you might want to consider such as spyware, and lack of computer resources(I.E. memory). These things can make a computer act buggy too. I had to install four different spyware programs before I found all the crap deposited on my system from a "free program theme".(Not from this site) Other such "free programs" are not totally free. They can invade your privacy and destroy your computers integrity too.

Also, if you switch themes in the middle of an AOL session, it is not surprising that interior windows may be moved, or even improperly skinned. The AOL software is running, and therefore it has to accept, and apply the changes, "on the fly".

I have the same problem with AOL. It has nothing to do with spyware or the like, neither is it anything to do with applying a new theme during an existing AOL session. It all started happening when I changed from WB4.3 to version 4.4. Don't know quite what to do bar excluding the skin from AOL >

AOL sucks at this. And what you mentioned is just one of the problems. The only way to go around it, is to use for example IE and leave AOL open for connection purposes only, if it bugs you.
