I havent any problems with anything after downloadeing SP2

Did you disable BootSkin prior to installing SP2?
SYMPTOMS
When you upgrade your computer to Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), when you restart your computer during the installation, the computer stops unexpectedly and you receive the following error message:
A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer...
Technical information:
*** STOP: 0x00000050 (0x905108010, 0x00000000, 0x80509443, 0x00000000)
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Note The four parameters in this error message may vary, depending on the cause of the Stop error.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if you use the BootSkin program from Stardock Corporation. The BootSkin program changes the appearance of the Microsoft Windows XP startup screen by using a startup screen driver. This driver may not load correctly during the installation of Windows XP SP2 when the computer first restarts. If you turn off the BootSkin program before you install Windows XP SP2, you can turn the program back on after you install Windows XP SP2.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, turn off BootSkin before you install Windows XP Service Pack 2.

2nd i did install SP2 with the Boot program running at the time & now i was force to remove it from my computer competely. A shame i really prefer a different start-up then that stale Windows one. When i start the Boot program & logon off my computer,then i come back to restart i see the Boot Skin Then my screen goes pitch black & nothing happens No Logonscreen & or normal start. Then i force a hard reboot my computer tells me there a problem & now must be put in safe mode to correct start-up problem. I have to restart in safe mode & then remove all the Boot program. Then my computer start normal with WB,Icons full Odject Desktop & so on. I don't remember getting an error message? When i frist installed SP2.I did get my Boot Program from Stardock Corp. So i guess i just give up. No sense fighting the computer for one more cool feature. I'm just happy all my other WC (Odject Desktop,Cursor,WB,etc..,)programs run smoothly. Again Thanks for all your help
