WM Forum

We recently switched servers which gave us a lot more space.
Unfortunally i lost all the info of our forum, so i made a new one from scratch.
Unfortunally we still have about 15 members.
Does anyone have some tips that will attract more people to my website but especially our forum.
I already try to be very active in the skinning world, so I once in a while open thread on several skinning sites and reply to some (with a link to my site in my sig)
I also want to ask the people who where a member at my forum before the server change to re-register again please to get my forum more alive, and i'm positive it will boost-up my website too.
Not that my site is going bad, but i can always use more people..
Thanks in advance
Roeland

If you would like to tell me which files contain spyware or stuff like that I will remove them, i already removed that Tick file.
And its unfair that you say i dont care about copyright issues !!!
I always contact authors asking them for permission !!!!
So please take that back.
I try my best to make the Winmodify website a nice website where you can download all kinds of artwork. I am doing this all by myself and there is a possibility that spyware can come trough but if people report this, i can filter these file out.
So instead of saying that my website must be avoided help me by pointing the files that contains spyware...
Thanks !
I hope you can respect the effort im putting in this website.
I just ask for tips.
Cheers...

I will not moderate the submissions at Winmodify, - that's your responsibility. I did not bring the link to your website to Wincustomize.
It's not the amount of files violating privacy and/or copyright issues that counts, or how long they have been available, but the fact that they are or have been there for downloading, linked from this forum.

i dont get you.
And what about the 'amount' you talk all kinds of things, but dont let me know concrete things, so i can do something about it, i am not aware of any spamfiles on my website or/and as you say violating privacy.
Never mind... better close this thread

I dont ask you to moderate the Winmodify website, but you give your opinion on why people shouldnt got to my website and that's because some files contains spyware as you say, but i didn't experienced any form of spyware except for the tick a bit longer fle, I hope you know that I want the best for Winmodify, I put a lot of effort in it, and thats why i asked you to point of some files that contains spyware so i can remove them, but if you don't want to do that, thats ok.
Thank you for your opinions on some things,

If you want to post a link to your web site, there is a sticky thread for that. If you want to send a message to those who previously registered for your forum, I would suggest putting that information on your web site where anyone who is interested will surely find it when they visit.

One example is this one on page two in the logons library, called "Tick a bit longer" http://winmodify.com/logonscreens_page2.htm. The picture in the logon is by Luis Royo. Can I please see the permission from him to use this? In addition, the logon downloads as an exe-file bundeled with various crap-ware.
With that said, I think it's wrong of you to post invitations for people to visit your site.
