Need someone who knows something about... stuff

Im having a major problemb with any themes on my computer.
Ok, I had a really good theme i really liked, well, it was mostly just a startbar/wallpaper combo, i changed the wallpaper and kept the startbar. ll was fine for at least 4 months. But yesterday when my mom(sigh) went on my computer, she downloaded some new updates, and it changed everything. Including deleting all my favorites, wallpaper, changing ym starbar to default, everything back to default. No content lost, just like, settings all changed. It was something called Zone Alarm she said. _< The same thing happened with a theme from here, and a sent theme.
If anyone has ANY ideas, post them here

It sounds to me like she installed SP2. Zone Alarm is not a windows update, and I can't imagine Zone Alarm doing all of that. In fact, I know it wouldn't. But, SP2 would do all of that.
It also sounds to me like you have different GUI programs installed on your computer. I suggest that you remove any illegal GUI programs(ex. StyleXP), and uninstall and reinstall windowblinds. Then, try switching to WindowsXP style. Maybe you are in classic style and windowblinds won't load in classic style.

WindowBlinds loads up fine here from either classic or luna 
.....I'd try to find out more about what she did, 'cause neither SP2 or ZA would just delete favorites, wallpaper and change your taskbar....just for S&G's were you running StyleXP, WindowBlinds or any of the modified/hacked dll's used to work with unsigned msstyles?
