Maxthon (formely MyIE2) vs WB
Tuesday, October 19, 2004 by Jachyra | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
There is only one problem now that wasn't present with myIE2 and it's the WB animations. When downloading a file, the progress bar is skinned (and everything else for that matter) but whatever the WB theme used, there is only the windows default animation shown.
I'm just wondering if it's something I did or it's the case for everybody else using Maxthon.
Thanx in advance.

I guess I'll have to live without the anims as there is no way I'm going back to IE.

You are basically "using" IE as MyIE2 (or Maxthon) uses the IE engine.

If you've ever used MyIE2, you'd know the many differences especially in the GUI (tab browsing, plugins, etc.). Maxthon uses the IE engine all right (the backend only), but that's it.

Maxthon blows Firefox out of the water.
IIRC my progress animations work fine.
