I cant open downloaded programs :(

Hi Im new here and i have following problem:

If i download a Stardock program, like DesktopX or so the download works and when its finished i cant start the .exe file I doubleclick on it and nothing happens
What can i do to fix this problem?

Did you download the program, or a DesktopX theme/object/widget? The skins, themes, icons, and etc avaiable here, require a program to be used. You'll find the link to the program(s) needed in each lbrary, near the top of the page.

and now I see, the files i downloaded yesterday are gone... weird... can you figure out why i have this problem??

Gone...means deleted????

Check your HDD for errors....i might get some errors....

how to check for errors? I guess they are deleted :/
