When I read the email announcing this, I can't say I was thrilled, and the $30 price jump didn't impress me at all........

Yeah I'm surprised about the price jump too, but the price on CorelDraw seems to be less than I remember when I bought CorelDraw 7, I think it was around $100 more. Thing is I didn't really get into using any graphics programs to any extent until I bought PSP8

I can't afford both. It'll be a long while to have PSP version whatever number.

Ms Chickie, at one time you could get PSP for 30 dollars after rebate. It all was pretty good. I agree 129 is a bit much.

I am glad I got PSP 8 when I got it. I can do some of what I need to do for fun and business.

Well, such is life.

That was a sale awhile again I think and it was for PSP7... I think...

All I know is that you could get PSP for 30 Dollars after rebate, but that was a while ago.

had PSP 4- shareware version that would tell you how long youve used it for (ie: "you are using 430 days of your 30 day trial period"), and it didnt stop you from using it.

Hey, for those who want to upgrade to Paint Shop Pro 9, you can do so and pay 55 dollars.

Provided you are a registered user of a legal recent version.
I'm not pleased to see Corel involved ....

The dl version of V9.0 doesn't have all the preset images included and some other regular features. You will have to wait a bit until JASC sets up a download page for them.

still sucks... I'll keep my version 8 with everything included. I didn't ven bother to read the details of the new version and what it does better or different.
