Windowblinds skins zipped?

Thursday, September 30, 2004 by bkmo | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I am curious why the last few skins I downloaded via wincustomize were in zip format? I have to rename them to install them now. It was nice when downloading a wba that it self installed.

Thanks,
Bkmo

Did you recently install Windows XP Service Pack 2? I've heard that it forces the .zip file extension, but I could be wrong. The easiest thing to do is save the file instead of running it directly. When it asks you where you want to save it, rename it to .wba. Then, when the download is complete, you just have to click Open.

Yes Mike, I did install SP2. I have also been doing exactly as you suggest. I was just curious why I was seeing Zip extensions when downloading. I assumed it was Wincustomize. Thanks
