IE Problems

Sunday, September 26, 2004 by kona0197 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Every so often my IE loses it's address drop down website list. I'm not talking about the favorites menu. I'm talking about the drop down list of previous sites on the address bar. Anyone know of a fix or a option to make IE not lose this info?

Somewhere in the Internet Options, there's an option to clear history when the browser is closed.
You may wanna uncheck that.

TweakUI also have this option. (Just in case you've got this installed)

I'll have to do some searching for that option or track down tweakUI. Thanks Snowy.

Control Panel(classic view)/TweakUI/IE make sure you don't have clear doc. typed URL checked

Not sure how to turn off the clear history, but you can set it to 999 days before cleaning Tools/Internet options/General/set history days to 999
