Anybody know some good car movies??

Or maybe so movies you would go to in your car back in the day when there was drive-ins?
In the future i really want to open a drive in and show movies. I haven't picked a spot yet but its going to be in NYC.
Well anyway, back to reality of now, what are your favorite car/drive in movies?
Or Teen angst movie with car grabbing scenes? I want to make a report on it
(I into making reports these days)
Here is a couple:
Cannon Ball Run
Eat My Dust
Night Shift
American Graffiti
Not sure about the Lords of Flatbush but I will ad it in for flavor.

Yeah, I forgot about that one! Christine is a classic! Back to the Future... well, I liked it.
Oh and here is my vehicle site... I am not much of an engine guy but I am into the design of things.
Yeah, so I though of some more:
Transformers: The Movie
A Street Car Named Desire
Its not a movie, but I think MASH was something to marvel at when it came to the jeeps and helicopters.
Grand Theft Auto with Ron Howard (from happy Days)
The Blues Brothers
Bullitt
Fast Times At Rigemont High
ET
Star Wars
Bat-Man (the Batmobile... they spent 10 minutes on it!!!)

The Batman movie series had awesome Batmobiles. They morphed with each new movie.

Someone once said that I need a ferrari, but I think I'd prefer a batmobile. Oh, and yes, the cape too.

There's a Jackie Chan film called Thunderbolt which is fantastic.
It's based around street-racing, but since it's the Chinese doing the stunts, the car scenes are stunning. (F&F directors take note).
I suppose Bullit should also get a mention too, but personally I don't understand the hype with the car chase in that. It's not very long, and it's not entirely exciting.
Also loved Duel too, the one based on the Stephen King novel about the guy who ends up in a road rage battle with a truck.

Then there's the relatively recent "too fast too furious" releases (and their ilk). With the little zippy buzz boxes pretending they're muscle cars. Yecchh! Watchable, but laughable (at).

Check out "Thunder Road", from 1956, in which Robert Mitchum played a moonshine runner and Gene Barry was the "Revenoor" out to get him. When I was in Jr. High School in Marietta, Ga., the film was must viewing!
