shut down

I know this is not the place to this but you guy's are gods with puters .
When I am D/L some music and lets say that it might take a couple of hours to D/L
so I walk away for a while, I come back, and tne puter has shut its self down and I lose my D/L . it has never done this before. I have win xp home sp2 80gig, 512meg of ram

Err.. in your display properties control panel, under the screen saver tab there is an advanced button. There is an option there to turn off your hard disks after a certain amount of idle time. Turn that to never and it shouldn't happen again.

That's all I could think of, and I hope it works for you!

Thanks Queez and Stacey did what you said and we will see what happens, I could not figure this out on my own, new it had to be simple .

That did the trick you two thank you very munch, I knew it was something simple my brain gets vapor lock at times .
