Im going with a Drivers suggestion. You might want to make sure that you have up-to-date drivers.

There might be one area in Skin Studio. I am thinking about the attributes, "MaxBorderCutTop" and "MaxBorderCutBottom". These are attributes in the Border section of SS. Good Luck.

If you hav'nt already tried, u might want to reinstall window blinds after u have unloaded them.

Did you update your windowblinds recently?
If it was the monitor then you would be having the same problem when using the default XP theme I would think.

| It appears it is the MagicTune software of Samsung. When I exit out of that program, all is well. |
Ah, then you may contact customer support if it is a problem with the software, and maybe they will eventually come up with a update to fix the problem. But, if it is a black area, then maybe you can adjust stretch the screen size to fix it. I always have to adjust the screen size on my new monitors. It took me weeks before I was happy with the settings on my new monitor.
If the magic tune software doesn't add anything that you want, why not just disable it in msconfig?

| Right now it is pretty good looking except for the very little black lines |
ut oh, the last time I got those, my video card was toast. I probably did exactly what you did too. I got a new monitor.
Heck, we can always use a new monitor, especially if it is larger.

Then, I had to buy a new videocard.
