why does WB 4.4 look like crap

every skin i had with WB 3 then installed 4.4 looks like crap
do all skins need to be updated for 4.4?
if so i am going back to 4.3

I've noticed a few things no longer line up properly.

Its because of the way the new versions of WindowBlinds are handling font management. Some system fonts are different sizes now.

Hmm, you mean the system fonts that windowblinds uses by default? Do you know what the All Programs font/size use to be? And can't we define that font? Thanks.

These Stardock developers are very tricky fellers. They like making us skinners go back and look at our skins, and see what's now messed up with them. Thereby, maybe forcing us to update them and hopefully make them better. I admit, there's always room for improvement.

lol, yeah its not cool because some authors mau not want to update or may update certain skins no neciseraly the one you use you would like to use
my problems are bigger then fonts, some themes look fine but when you click on "start" the menu comes up as windows classic theme, weird
i unloaded Wb and loaded it again as well as restated many times and its just not fixing it

Finally you explain yourself....... that's much better description of your problem than "looks like crap".

did you give me an answer? No you didnt so it does not make a god damn differance, and just so everyone knows i went back to WB 4.3 and all problem went away

Yes it matters how you explain it. Just because I don't know the answer to your problem, doesn't mean nobody does. But if you don't tell us what the problem is, how do expect anyone to know what you're looking at. We can't see your monitor.

ok i see your point, but regardless i asked a question in my first post that could probably have saved us from the whole thing.
do all skins need to be updated for 4.4?
if the answer was yes then this thred is over because that means the problem is simply WB 4.4
if the answer is no then i would have explained further what was going with my system........

sory for my frustreation, i am not a bad guy just confused, everything worked great then i updated to something that should be more improved but its actually more buggy
other problems i have with 4.4 is the tooltips, they were showing up yellow with a skin that should have had them white, i had to restart to take care of that, so another bug i found i guess would be when you cvhange skins in 4.4 its not really flawless, i had to restart to get it all to take effect which i never had to do before.
I will post more bugs as i come across them

ok here is a good example, here is a skin that is suppose to only work with 4.4 but yet it worked flawlessly under 4.3 and looks like "cr*p" on 4.4

So far the only glitch I have with 4.4 is the progress bar background,it should be transparent but its black

I've seen a lot of magic pink in some of my skins. It's strange. But sometimes colors didn't always change in 4.3 either.

as things evolve there will be a few glitches ...software is always evolveing and updateing .. hence there will be issues at times .. make the best of them .. report any bugs to the PROPER. individuals .. but most of all stay calm...it's better to be calm and collected than just lashing out .. lashing out will invariably alienate those who's support u request...
