Wednesday, September 15, 2004 by Skryme | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

When I go to windowblinds advanced configuration and select copperdeck,it`s opening it but in lightblue not red as it should!I have tried it many times but always it is lightblue instead of red.Can somebody say why it is blue?

Have you or anyone with access to your PC change the color of the skin thru the WB configuration?
Is this the only skin that shows with different color?
Have you try to delete the skin and download it again?

Blackcomb is also different color(it is green)!
All other skins are okay(Steel,Zippo ,DogmaX and Oxidized).I changed Copperdeck color half year ago,not blackcomb! Now I have uninstalled WB and installed it again!Always Blackcomb and Copperdeck are different color.

Sounds like the forced colouring option is enabled.

Thanks Hippy!
There in WB settings:Change skin color:Enable custom color support was on!When I took that away,Copperdeck looks like it should:red! But I like to know, why it change only Blackcomb and Copperdeck, not any other skins?

Custom coloring will change the colored parts of the skin, but will leave the greyscale shades alone. Maybe all the other skins you looked at were mostly shades of grey?
