DesktopX problem

i just got DesktopX and when ever i try to load a theme the only thing that shows up it just the right bar and nothing else such as background and the taskbar as well as the icons...
i have checked the background button but stil nothing...
can some one help me

i am also a noobie and the same thing is happening to me with every one i use. My same wallpaper is there, all my programs on the desktop are, the only that is different is the side bar thing with all the information.
