So I have a plugin that gets info from a certain application.
I want to use a script that updates this every second.
Was wondering how the code should be like.

how I would "refresh" the the object? like run the dll..

Right now I have an object using the DXWinAMPInfo.dll plugin. But the object does not "refresh" so to speak so you never see the info until u go into properties and click ok in which it refreshes. Trying to get a script that checks everysecond or at least change when song changes so the info is correct. Using DesktopX 2.0.

Ok, I'm not really good at scripting in DX, I only know the very basics of it. I also know that DX2.0 is old news, and you should definately be using DX2.2. The amount of changes since 2.0 is staggering. Try the new version...and maybe it will work better. Sorry I can't offer any more advice on the scripting...

Hm I only have full version of desktopx 2.0 tho...I would try 2.2 but I would have to get the free version. Not really interested in getting the little popup screen every time I log into account

Well, if DXWinAMPInfo.dll is an automation Dll, in other words an ActiveX Dll then you can instantiate it and use the methods on the object to do the work you are wanting to do. It would be something like:
Dim myObj
Set myObj = CreateObject("DXWinAMPInfo")
and then you could call methods with:
myObj.getSomething
myObj.setSomething
etc..
HTH, it's probably not exactly right but should give you enough to get started.
