Right click the calendar, select month, current month should fix it, if not you've got problems because the calendar should change. It has been mentioned that this might be another problem with installing SP2 on a system.

Not all operating systems are set up the same. Certain OEM versions may react differently to SP2. I've heard a lot of people have trouble with Dell versions of WindowsXP and HP versions of WindowsXP. I think these manufacturers need to fix their software, not the operating system.

I threw my Gateway version of Windows in the trash a long time ago and got the full unmodified version of the OS. It worked like a charm that way.

Just foud out the same thing myself today while fixing a friends computer. The Dell worked fine all until the first hot-fixes from MS was installed. After the SP2, there were problems with quite a lot the installed applications. I made a clean install, updated with SP2 and set it up with most of the apps he previously had running, and voilá!, runs like a charm! Bootskin had never worked on his system and even that works perfect now.
