HELP!!!! I am a newbee with WINDOWSBLINDS problems.

I have just purchased Object Desktop from Stardock. Having had a play with the freebee stuff, I decided to dip into the old wallet.
However, I am now experiencing a problem. Every time I try to apply a theme using windowsblinds I receive a message that says: "WBCONFIG HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM...etc..etc.." and the program is closed. Even trying to access visual files from within the theme manager doesn't work either. The program (Theme Manager) tries to open the visual styles and then the entire program closes. I am using Windowsblinds 4.39 (beta) as this is the version that Stardock Central installed.
I have also been trialing STYLE XP at the same time. However, the problem did not start until I downloaded a theme and tried to install. I have removed STYLE XP from the PC yet still it does not work. I have set the theme to WINDOWS CLASSIC using the SUITES tab in Theme Manager as suggested, by somebody on a forum entry (neowin, I think), but it still does not work.
It is all a bit of minefield to me at the moment so any help would be appreciated.
