Shell Replacement??

Is there any chance that, in a future build, DesktopX will be able to replace the Windows Shell?
There is a program called Aston (www.astonshell.com) that does this already. It is skinable and customizable, but, personally, I think that DesktopX is a better program.
So how about it? Could the Stardock developers include an option for DesktopX to replace the shell?

I don't run desktop X, but I assume it doesn't need explorer shell running...
