changing desktop background w/ windowblinds shareware?

Hey guys,
I'm currently using windowblinds 4.3 shareware version. The skin I'm using (FireFlexx2) is awesome however the desktop background is set to gray, when I would prefer black. I've tried multiple ways but i can't seem to figure out how to change the desktop color from gray to black? When I go into display properties and change it it changes back on reboot. Also I can't change it in the Appearence tab since I get "not available in shareware." How can I change my desktop color from gray to black permanently? Thx guys.

or open the skin file with notepad and change the desktop background color

went into the fireflexx2 folder, opened up the skin file with notepad, changed the "background" RGB colors to 0, 0, 0 (black) and success! Thanks a lot guys
